Agence de Régulation du Secteur de la Microfinance (ARSM)

The Agency's mission is to exercise, on behalf of the Minister in charge of Finance, - supervision over the Decentralized Financial Systems (SFD) as it results from the prerogatives fixed by the texts which govern the sector. They relate to:

the issuance of authorizations to exercise;
the monitoring of SFDs based on the production by the latter of mandatory declarations and inspections;
the collection, processing and dissemination of information based on the declarations to which DFS are required
; the dissemination of information on regulations;
the ability to sanction;
the establishment of close collaboration between the Agency and the various players in the Microfinance sector.
