CIM - Comunidade Intermunicipal da Região de Coimbra

The Intermunicipal Comunity of Coimbra Region has been testing a new approach to regional development based on a supra-municipal strategy which, while respecting the political autonomy of each municipality, allows for stronger intervention on economic, social and cultural agents, in order to enhance the Region's values and to assert it in a national context.

It is our goal to sustainably play a leading partnership role in the discussion of the problems and expectations of the Region with the Central Administration and the Government of the Republic.

We will work in a concerted and constructive manner with all regional agents in order to join forces, focusing on the essential: to make the Coimbra Region a Territory with greater entrepreneurial spirit, more social cohesion, more quality of life and more wealth.
