Description
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian development organization, dedicated to working with children, their families and their communities to reduce poverty and injustice. Dedicated to working with the world´s most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
World Vision was founded in 1950 by Bob Pierce, a preacher, to meet the needs of thousands of orphaned children as a result of the war in Korea.
Currently, the organization consists of a worldwide confederation of almost 100 countries on five continents.
