Commune de Beaumont de Pertuis

Beaumont-de-Pertuis is a French commune , located respectively in the canton of Pertuis , the arrondissement of Apt , the department of Vaucluse in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Its inhabitants are called the Beaumontais(es) (in langue d'oc : Béu-mountès most often, or even Béu-mounten).

The Beaumont site has been inhabited since prehistoric times, although the main residential core moved south around the year 1000. The town was formerly called Beaumont-d'Apt before taking its current name. Beaumont is today a dynamic village due to its demographic growth and the commitment of its inhabitants .
