VODOHOSPODÁRSKA VÝSTAVBA, STÁTNY PODNIK has been one of the most important guarantors and investors in the construction of water structures in Slovakia for more than half a century. By operating the Gabčíkovo Water Works, which enables international navigation on the Danube, ensures flood protection and the production of ecologically clean energy, as well as by operating the Žilina Water Works on the Váh River, it is one of the most important water management entities in Central Europe.
