Višňové is a town in the Znojmo district in the South Moravian Region. Approximately 1,100 inhabitants live here. Višňové is located at the very end of the Jevišovická upland. The altitude varies from less than 400 m above sea level at one end of the cadastre to 270 meters at the other end of the cadastre in the west-east direction. Višňové is located in the middle between the cities of Miroslav, Moravský Krumlov, Moravské Budějovice and Znojmo.
Višňové is a wine-growing village with 1,100 inhabitants, today regaining the status of a township. The village of Višňové is located in the southern direction near the Rokytná nature park. The Skalička stream flows around the village on the left, on which the Jazírka pond is located. It is located behind the hill Stará hora, which is situated north of the town. At its top there is a lookout from which, in good weather, there is a view to the east of Pálava, to the south to Austria, to the north of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, and to the west there is a view of the villages located in this direction.
South of the town are south-facing vineyards. The cadastre in this direction ends with a dam on the Křepička river in Crete. To the west of the village lies the Mikulovicky forest. To the east opens the already mentioned view of the Pálava mountain range.
