Description
Authority for the Prevention and Combat of Violence in Sport (APCVD) The Authority is a central service of the direct administration of the State, endowed with administrative autonomy, under the direction of the member of the Government with competence in the area of Sport. The Authority's mission is to prevent and monitor compliance with the legal regime to combat violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance at sports events, in order to enable them to be held safely. (Article 2 of Regulatory Decree No. 10/2018, of October 3)
