The National Emergency Supply Agency of Finland (NESA) is an agency of the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment responsible for maintaining Finnish strategic reserves and preparedness. It is tasked to ensure a security of supply during a time of crisis.
As strategic tasks:
- to coordinate the cooperation of business life and public administration in preparation
- manages the state's security storage as well as security and obligation storage ensures the functionality of necessary technical systems and secures critical production of goods and services
- follows international developments and maintains contact with foreign authorities and institutions
