The Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the fourteen ministries of the Government of Moldova. It is the main executive body responsible for the Trupele de Carabinieri. The mission of the ministry includes the analysis of the situation and problems in the areas of activity managed, as well as the elaboration of effective public policies in the related areas of activity. Also, the ministry is responsible for monitoring the quality of existing policies and normative acts and making recommendations regarding justified state interventions that will provide effective solutions in the fields of competence, ensuring the best ratio between expected results and expected costs.
