Uganda Development Corporation (UDC) is a body corporate established under the UDC Act 2016 to establish subsidiaries and associate companies, enter into public-private partnerships, assist in financing and management of undertakings, and promoting and facilitating research into industrial development. UDC's investment agenda currently focuses on three key areas; agro-processing, mineral beneficiation and infrastructure and services. The Corporation invests in green and brown fields with a long term of divestiture of its interests in mature and ready to go investments.

To promote and facilitate industrial and economic development of Uganda.
Objectives
i To strengthen internal capacity, processes and systems for UDC to deliver its mandate.
ii Leverage partnerships and networks to optimize resources and foster collaboration.
iii Invest in strategic and sustainable investments geared to overall economic and industrial development of Uganda.
