National Agriculture Support Center / Krajowy Ośrodek Wsparcia Rolnictwa

The National Support Center for Agriculture is an institution that supports farmers and producers and deals with the development of agriculture in the country. The tasks of KOWR have been organized according to four key competences:

1. RESOURCES, i.e. land and real estate management, consisting in creating conditions conducive to the rational use of the Agricultural Property Resources of the State Treasury;
2. PROMOTION, i.e. conducting information and promotional activities in the country and abroad; this also applies to supporting and building relationships between the governments of selected countries to whose markets exports are directed, conducted and planned;
3. KNOWLEDGE, i.e. supporting beneficiaries in the development of their activities, consisting of information about new trends and tendencies in agriculture, as well as about the possibilities of obtaining support;
4. ANALYSIS, i.e. conducting research, analyzes and activities shaping agricultural policy to increase the competitiveness of Polish agriculture both at home and abroad. KOWR is a modern state institution that was established as a response to changing trends in agriculture.
