Description
The Freiberger Mulde / Zschopau company is responsible for the dams and first-class waters in large parts of the Erzgebirgskreis and the Central Saxony district as well as in the city of Chemnitz. The company has two headquarters: in Lengefeld and in Chemnitz. The company also includes five dam depots, three river depots, an investigation center in Saidenbach and the Chemnitz flood protection camp. Around 2.5 million sandbags are stored there for emergencies.
