Description
The town of Žandov is located in the Česká Lípa district , Liberecký region . Approximately 1,900 [1] inhabitants live here . It is located in the Česká středohoří protected area on the right bank of the Ploučnice river about 11 km west of the district town of Česká Lípa .
In the years 1950-1990, Žandov was merged with the neighboring municipality of Horní Police . [4] On Školní street, about 350 meters on the south-eastern side of the square, a group of family houses, which already belong to the municipality of Horní Police and are registered as its local part Pod Školou , immediately follows .
