GGGI’s objective in Papua New Guinea (PNG) is to support the ongoing effort of the Government in integrated planning for inclusive and climate-resilient green growth (CRGG) and in successful project implementation through mobilizing climate finance and green investments. This involves collaborating with all stakeholders towards the delivery of PNG’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), SDG Roadmap of 30 Action by 2030, and PNG’s ambition to be net-zero emissions in 2050. Our key focus areas are renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, green cities, and greenpreneurs. Our direct counterpart in the PNG government is Climate Change and Development Authority (CCDA). We also work closely with the Department of National Planning and Monitoring and the Department of Provincial and Local Government Affairs.
