Responsibilities:

• Development and monitoring of the application of regulations regarding digital transition and digitalization;
• Implementation of strategies and action plans for the development of a digital environment;
• Development of access to the digital network;
• Control of the programming and construction of infrastructure and equipment in the telecommunications sector as well as their maintenance;
• Development and monitoring of the application of telecommunications regulations;
• Monitoring of concessions in the different telecommunications infrastructure sectors;
• Development and implementation of policy in favor of the development and dissemination of digital uses;
• Development and implementation of the Administration's computerization policy and assessment of its impact on the modernization of the Administration and the quality of Public Services, in liaison with the Ministers concerned;
• Development of training, employment, research, innovation and competitiveness in the digital sector;
• Restructuring and modernization of the Post Office;
• Development and monitoring of the application of Postal regulations;
• Implementation and monitoring of the digital security plan;
