The Judicial Branch of Costa Rica, Supreme Power of the Republic, has the obligation to enforce the laws and administer justice; fundamental objective designated by the Political Constitution; Likewise, it is governed by the legal guidelines established in the Organic Law of the Judicial Branch, Law number 7333 of May 5, 1993, which establishes in Article 1: “...It corresponds to the Judicial Branch, in addition to the functions that the Constitution points out, to know the civil, criminal, juvenile criminal, commercial, labor, contentious-administrative and civil processes of finance, constitutional, family and agrarian, as well as the others established by the Law; definitively resolve on them and execute the resolutions it pronounces, with the help of the Public Force if necessary.”
