Description
The origin of FGC goes back to 1863 with the commissioning of the Tren de Sarrià. In 1979 FGC was constituted as a public company of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and since then the company has not stopped growing as far as the number of passengers and merchandise transported.
This continued growth, together with the diversification of the business towards other sectors such as leisure and tourism, has turned FGC into an efficient public company that has the distinction of offering a high quality service.
