World Childhood Foundation

World Childhood Foundation, founded in 1999 by Queen Silvia and serves to protect the child's right to a childhood, and especially working for better living conditions for children living in vulnerable environments worldwide. Childhood want to give all children the opportunity to develop into strong, confident and responsible people. Therefore Childhood works for the children who are often forgotten; street children, children in institutions, children abused and families at risk. Right now, Childhood supports around 100 projects in 16 countries, including Brazil, Cambodia, Russia, Sweden, South Africa, Poland, Germany, Ukraine and the United States.
