The European Foundation for Cluster Excellence is an independent, not-for-profit foundation dedicated to improving the European competitiveness by promoting and improving cluster management as a discipline and building international linkages and alliances.
We have over 10 years of experience designing and fostering economic development projects in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Our partners include the European Commission, the World Bank, national and regional governments, IESE Business School and the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at HBS.
The Foundation offers a series of trainings in Cluster Excellence addressed at policy makers and cluster practitioners. Its trainings are based on academic material developed by the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI) under the auspices of the European Commission. The Foundation manages the accreditation process, faculty selection, certification and monitoring of the instructors of each of its trainings.
