Ministry of Environmental Protection (Serbia)

The Ministry performs state administration tasks, prescribed by Article 6 of the Law on Ministries ("Official Gazette of the RS" No. 128/20), as follows:
management of chemicals and biocidal products, implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention in accordance with the law, waste management, except radioactive waste, creation of conditions for access and implementation of projects within the scope of that ministry financed from EU pre-accession funds, donations and other forms of development assistance ; approval of transboundary movement of waste and protected plant and animal species, as well as other activities determined by law.
