The European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies promotes and supports evidence-based health policymaking by conducting a thorough and rigorous study of the dynamics of Europe's health care systems.
The Observatory is responsible for providing analytic and evaluative descriptions of a country’s health system as well as systematically monitoring developments, investigating how the health systems "work" through secondary and comparative research, assisting in the development and interpretation of indicators for practical policy use and helping to improve performance and it then promotes its evidence to the audience.
In the long term, the Observatory aims to help countries to enhance their people's health and well-being systems and develop health and health economics, public health governance, the development of organizational modeling, the combination of skills and financing for the implementation of essential and effective integrated care and the implementation of corporate and technological innovation.
