- Senior chartered civil engineer with more than 19 years’ experience in civil and construction engineering: road transport infrastructure, water and urban infrastructure and buildings.
- Main areas of expertise: new construction and rehabilitation road projects and road safety, sewerage & rainwater collection systems and drinking water supply and distribution systems, and buildings (apartment, office, warehouse).
- Significant experience in road transport sector (34 projects), urban infrastructure sector (26 projects) and building sector (18 projects).
- More than 16 years´ experience on technical assessment & assistance, technical audits, feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, economic cost-benefit analysis, project management, construction control and supervision and final project evaluation.
- More than 13 years’ experience as an international expert in multiple civil engineering projects with the economic support of the European Union and in community infrastructure development programmes.

- More than 6 years´ professional experience in developing countries of Africa, Caribe and East Europe working for international institutions such as EC, EIB, WB. Work experience in the road transport sector in Sub-Saharan countries (Mozambique, D.R. Congo, Ivory Coast, Guinea Conakry, Benin, Ghana, Uganda, Burundi), North Africa countries (Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco), Middle East countries (Jordan, Iraq), Latin America (Honduras), Caribbean countries (Belize, Haiti, Dominican Rep., Netherland Antilles, Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands), and East Europe countries (Kosovo).
- Deep experience in civil engineering projects involving project identification and prioritization of investments. Significant experience in organizing and leading seminars / workshops to facilitate decision-making at the local, national and international level.
- Good experience in evaluation of EU projects and programmes, including road transport programmes, using the 5 standard DAC evaluation criteria, and the 2 EU specific evaluation criteria.
- Sound knowledge of European Commission and EDF procedures (project management cycle).
- Deep knowledge of public bid and tender procedures, preparation of tender dossiers rules by PRAG and contract awarding.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of multicultural and multidisciplinary technical professionals to meet project objectives and endorse business excellence.
- High oral and written communication ability, strong networking skills and cultural sensitivity.
