Luiselio Salvaterra Pinto is a consultant and entrepreneur. His working enthusiasm is in business development for Energy, Environment and ICT1 sectors. He is a founding partner of Krypton Associates, a consulting firm based in Sao Tome & Principe and Angola, engaged in addressing new solutions for Energy and Environment sectors, particularly for markets in the Portuguese-speaking African countries. While commuting between Sao Tome and Angola, he has been providing strategic services to clients across multiple industry sectors, mainly on issues of new energy paradigm, infrastructure investments, ICT and business development. At government level, he had experience serving as a special adviser to the Prime Minister of São Tome and Principe. Currently he advises the President of Regional Government of Principe on issues of Energy, Environment and Climate Change He is also a co-founder and General Coordinator of the APERAS, an NGO in Sao Tome & Principe, aimed at advocating best standards at policy-making level pertaining the promotion of renewables, protection of environment and climate change, and be a key civil society player in promoting overall education and capacity building opportunities for the population in tackling energy security and access, environment protection and tackling climate change. He holds an Energy engineering degree from Portugal. Further studies include i) a Stanford Innovative Future Executive Program (2011), ii) an Advanced Management Program for Executives at Catholica University Business School (2014), iii) a postgraduation in Engineering and Management of Renewable Energy (2015). Currently he is undertaking a Master degree on Sustainable Energy in Portugal.
