Over twenty four years’ experience with international non-government (and UN) organizations, in conflict or post-conflict countries in Asia, Africa, Middle-East and two European countries (Ukraine and Greece). 

Specialist in operations supply/procurement, Shelter/construction, security, transportation/warehousing, asset management, properties, energy/power - also experienced in WASH core competency as Project Coordinator. 

Involvement in several emergency interventions – flooding, population displacement, provision of shelter/WASH facilities, Ebola/Marburg, Cholera and nutrition/Non-Food Item distribution programs. Worked in refugee/IDP camps in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan/Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Uganda, SSudan, Ethiopia & Greece. 

Formulation of strategies/proposals, procurement plans, implementation and monitoring progress against work plan/budgets/log frame, and evaluation. Followed NGO, international standards, donor and audit compliance. 

Managed project start-ups and closures. Participated in assessments – post emergency, health facilities, new project opportunities, suppliers, and security. Advanced report writing (eg visit reports, sitreps, proposals). 

Experience in Finance (budget development/monitoring/etc), HR and Administration systems and procedures. 

Policy/guide/SOP development (supply, transportation, security, HR working practices, radio/computer usage).
