I am a humanitarian professional with education, training and experience in organisational development, management, disaster management, strategic partnerships and capacity building. I hold a MSc Organisational Development and BA degrees. With 30 years of experience working in the humanitarian/development industry (20 years ICRC, 4 years Oxfam GB, and 6 years Kenya Red Cross (KRCS). I possess excellent interpersonal communications skills, good diplomacy and tact to engage productively in difficult dialogue, excellent writing skills, among others. I am also a trainer/facilitator. My career, revolving around general management, disaster management, coordination and organizational development, has also gained me experience in resource mobilization for projects, donor relations, partnership development and fund management.  My work experience spans over Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and includes coverage of a variety of roles that can be summed up as including management/representational (Oxfam GB, KRCS), programme management/coordination/directorship (Oxfam GB, KRCS), and partnerships/capacity development (ICRC). I have experiences gained from working in a number of contexts would be greatly beneficial to this role. I am keen to move into roles that optimize my experience, career ambitions, skills set and potential.
