I am a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist with an academic background in Sociology (Masters level) and with 30 years of experience. My M&E experience includes Third-Party Monitoring and a wealth of experience in M&E from projects funded by diverse external funding agencies such as the World Bank (WB), USAID and the UN. My vast experience in M&E reflects my deep passion in using performance measures to keep projects on track, enrich project learning and furnish data that can be used to improve performance.

Working in various key M&E capacities, I’ve played a key role in leading the development and implementation of M&E systems, capacity building and information systems for M&E. Similarly, I provided M&E technical support to numerous staff and partners of the agencies I worked for, to ensure that their M&E systems (and databases) are well maintained and kept up-to-date. At the same time, I played instrumental roles in fulfilling other M&E related efforts such as capacity building, carrying out and coordinating situational analysis, surveys and internal and external evaluations, for HIV and AIDS, water and sanitation, micro-finance, infrastructure, peace-building, emergency and Agriculture projects.

Through these experiences, I have demonstrated exceptional abilities to work with multicultural and multi-disciplinary teams and interact well with people at all levels.
