Kuzivakwashe (Kuzie) is a water resources management professional with experience in the water sector. Kuzie has worked in hydrology, hydrogeology, and ecohydrology to solve complex issues including using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing. His hydrology work includes floods and droughts, hydrometry, modeling and mapping, and sediment and erosion control. In his career, he has been the deputy team leader managing integrated water resources management projects and water resources planning which involved monitoring and evaluation. Kuzie has done a lot of consulting in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and hydropower and renewable energy projects. Kuzie has also worked in Source water protection projects for cities in Africa.  Partly on model forecasting and adaptations to climate change and anthropologically induced changes together with water use accounting and auditing to mitigate water scarcity and shortages even in vulnerable communities. He has been involved in hydrology investigations for rural development including the analysis and design of suitable structures taking into account the climate change impacts. He has carried out capacity building and training for GIS, hydrometry, and water resources on several of his projects including lecturing at universities.
