Actually had Obtained two degrees on civilian bachelors degree from Sana'a university in 1998 in accounting and Auditing field the other degree in Military sciences from OSH offizier schule des Heers Germany , have Military background , and unique humanitarian background and keen to find a position as a security officer , also multilingual person (Arabic, English and German) my previous experiences worked in both humanitarian and development field with several of INGOs ( UNAMID,MSF, CARE, IRD, OXFAM, GIZ) in the the three first organization (UNAMID,MSF, CARE) had worked in humanitarian field and the last three org ( IRD, OXFAM, GIZ) worked in development field as well as I’m familiar and able to operate and work with several financial and accounting systems ( peoplesoft, Winpaccs, FFC Field Finance Connection, Sun System, Finsun)
I obtained two B.As the first B.A is in Finance & accounting and the second one in militarism sciences experienced in CBRN , I have very strong Military background with a demonstrated history of working for the Armed Forces both in German armed forces and Yemeni armed forces with military experiences for 9 years with Strong skills in defense against WMD (weapons of Mass destruction and self-protection) and previous experiences for 13 years in humanitarian and development fields included Risk Management, Emergency Management and in the Mine Action field . I joined UNAMID as Team Leader Assistant for Operation & Security Officer in June 2008 as well. I also bring with me 6 years specialized experiences in Weapon contamination during my work with ICRC, as I contributed in 3 security exercises for drawing the security plans regarding weapon contamination, and related ERW & UXO threats and hazards.
I firmly believe that I’m extremely sophisticated and skilled person, my wide knowledge in military operations, tactics and planning. I used to prepare security plans, considering SRM process security risk assessment for potential hazardous and putting in place the essential tool packages (e.g. Risk Matrix) and necessary measures through my comprehensive threat and risk analysis leads to effective security decision making. Additionally, through my planning. I always consider essential factors such as nature of the land, its environment, terrain, territories, reefs, mountains, and most dangerous / hazardous places /zones and areas on it. In addition to detailed understanding of the culture languages and complexity of the conflict in Yemen. I recognized very well the people, their tribal attributes, their psychological characteristics, and how I can influence them and gain the confidence and trust in order to accomplish any assigned and targeted tasks that I would like to achieve and accomplish my mission .I have become an expert in the security and safety field.
Furthermore, for the recent seven years, I’ve been worked with several INGOs involving in emergency & development programs in FAD (Finance and Admin Field). I have started as a Finance Assistant on 2009 till I become an Acting Coordinator for Weapon Contamination Department in 2016 thus I’m familiar and able to operate and work with several financial and accounting systems and my ability to plan & manage programs and in pertained budgeting issues. I’m also multilingual person (Arabic, English and German).
Moreover, I am fully aware of the UNSMS ( UN security Management System ) measures and procedures as asserted in UN security policy manual the blue book). I am also aware of some Laws such as (IHL, and Law of Armed conflict) which I consider a great added value to any organizations.
One of my great contribution and achievement within the current employer (ICRC ) that I established weapon contamination department in Yemen as I started from scratch in August 2016 as acting WeC coordinator and covering all duties and responsibilities of WeC coordinator ranging from strategic planning for core objectives till writing PFR ( planning for reference and MFR monitoring for outcomes , drafting proposed budget for activities , in line with GO and SOs) , I have already finalized of writing 48 pages research of casualties analysis for YEMEN during the period from 2005 till 2021, contains a comprehensive analysis of the most affected areas with landmines and ERW in north and south, Roles of YRCS and YEMAC for mitigating the risk, WeC recommendations ) the trend of the accidents in the North and in the South , and contains 20 diagrams I designed it in Excel , Drafted and suggested WeC vision in line with PFR 2021, and I designed toolkits and forms, Needs and Assessment ,data gathering ,incident monitoring forms), served as database to record and register any explosive incidents ,helped in recognizing and identifying of hazardous areas, took the lead in this field for registering of casualties , these forms had been circulated to all ICRC's WeC offices worldwide through which WeC in Geneva utilized it as benchmarking and standardized parameter in order to be practiced globally in all ICRC’s Delegations, I’ve the ability to innovate new ideas and initiatives for developing the work and assignments.
I used to train many persons either during my service in German armed forces or my work with INGOs , ability to plan for events ,workshops and for developing a training materials , the best examples I effectively planned for conducting BTCc (Blast Trauma Care Course ) while I was working with ICRC and I had well organized for bringing 2 experts one Italian and the other Mexican doctors to train 20 of paramedics who belongs to Yemeni Executive Mine Action Centre , and organized for whole days training from A to Z , in addition to that I conducted A training course for drivers entitled (Introduction to weapon contamination and safety and security measures) on 14 September 2020 and produced an effective reports for both trainings ( I could share sample with you if you interest). I have attended a number of training courses worldwide as well.
I have an excellent computerized skill, having worked with several Financial Information Systems "online & offline systems", moreover I have advanced background in Excel programming VBA, Macros and Formulas.
