I am a Civil Society development Expert and Human rights lawyer with extensive experience in civil society, democracy and governance issues in Southern Africa. I do have experience in EU consultancies. Regarding civil society development, my work has focused on the following 5 key areas designed to assist NGOs better deliver. I have experience in the following areas:

1. Capacity building training for NGOs/training needs analysis.

2. Project monitoring and evaluation/Project design

3. Facilitating dialogue between NGOs and parliamentarians and improving state civil society relations/ basically formulating strategies to create an enabling environment within which civil society can operate.

4. Organizational evaluations. Organizational pre-funding risk analysis for donors to ensure that organisations that do receive funding are indeed legitimate and able to deliver.

I previously worked as a Manager, Policy& Research at the National Association of Nongovernmental organizations (NANGO) in Zimbabwe where my main role was to design and implement strategies to improve create an enabling environment for NGOs to operate in Zimbabwe and to provide capacity building within the sector by researching and designing appropriate courses to meet the needs gaps.
