- + 25 years professional experience working in the tourism industry and providing hands-on technical assistance in tourism planning and development to the private sector, governmental and non-governmental institutions, in the fields of destination development, management and its organisation (DMO), regional planning and investment promotion, vocational education and training, private sector development as well as in the development of tourism products and services
- Professional skills in strategy consulting, market intelligence, marketing and branding, HR strategy and organisation, sustainable development, service quality standardisation and certification, master planning, SME development, cultural heritage management, community-based tourism (CBT), services and event management
- Proven experience in the facilitation of public-private partnerships resulting in highly successful demand-driven outputs in marketing & branding, promotional, social media and PR activities and in the conception, design and implementation of a trade fair participation, matchmaking with tour operators, press conferences and roadshows
