Ms Višnja Omerbegović is an specialist with proven 30 years’ long experience in leading and coordinating the following processes: a) planning & programming, development and implementing IT/GIS business management plans; b) in-deep IT/GIS systems’ business process and their related supporting frameworks (organisational, legal, technical and institutional) analysis; b) IT/GIS business reengineering; c) assessment of user needs and requirements; d) assessment and gap analysis of data & information management practice; e) preparation of IT/GIS related feasibility studies, operation and work plans; d) designing, developing, testing, training and implementing (installing, configuring and running) IT/GIS systems in the following sectors: water resources management, marine &flood risk management, biodiversity & nature protection, agriculture, fisheries (sea and inland), veterinary, phytosanitary, public administration, statistics; f) long-term investment and budget planning; g) technical assistance in implementation of the river basin management and flood risk management plans using Web-GIS technology and service-based architecture for data exchange.
