- Certified Accountant /Auditor/ by the Ministry of Finance in Syria and the Association of Syrian Certified Accountants.
- Wide experience in different Syrian Government Institutions and Ministries in addition to International organizations
- A comprehensive understanding of public Sector Finance and Management systems.
- Good experience in managing supply and services contracts UNHCR and Europe Aid.
- Good knowledge about NGOs working in the field during the current Syrian crisis.
- Good experience in managing financial issues like Budgeting, producing financial statements, reporting, ensuring equitable, effective, and efficient finance operation, and supervising contracting procedures especially in EU and UNHCR projects.
- Deep understanding of the IFRS, accounting and finance disclosure and financial management requirements and responsibilities.
- Deep knowledge and good experience in international relation and working with international organizations.
- Good knowledge in Public Budget, local administration and municipalities Budgets in Syria.
- Experience in developing strategic and tactical plans and developing monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Good knowledge of the principles of procurement for public sector projects.
- Management of training programmes (Strategic management, HRD, finance and Marketing.)
- A comprehensive understanding of the Syrian Education systems and strategic education planning and management. In addition to the Financial and Monetary Planning on Macro Economic level - Implementing and supervising institutional modernization plans.
- Excellent skills in strategic thinking, team work, analysis, communication as well as team leading skills.
- Experience and knowledge in managing UNHCR and EU-funded programmes ( project cycle management –monitoring and evaluation - financial analysis)
- Good English language especially in financial, educational, and emergency response issues
