I am an Environmental Engineer and a hold a unique master’s degree from TU Cottbus, Germany blending Management and Engineering capacities. Also, I have completed a diploma in Clean development mechanism (Kyoto Protocol). I am passionate about research and implementation in the domain of Environment, Climate Change & Energy as well as project management (PRINCE2 certified practitioner, 2017-2022).
Owing to more than 5 years of private sector and International organization/donor funded projects engagements, I have extensive experience in development cooperation by managing water and energy projects. My skills cover the full project cycle: elaboration and coordination of technical and financial proposals; technical writing; budgeting; financial planning and monitoring; communication and dissemination; in addition to high-level events organization and working and liaising with local governments, stakeholders and beneficiaries. In terms of expertise, I bring an advanced understanding of elaboration of science-based policy studies and complex data aggregation and analysis.
With my assignments in India, Nepal, CELAC and EMENA region, I have experience in project management with technical assistance on different projects in developing countries. My task further included extensive legal research on applicable legislation ruling the renewable energy appliances across the region. As part of UN FLORES I have been responsible for preparing content for policy briefs, working paper series, books, drafting project proposals, managing website content, liaising with relevant parties/clients and tracking the status of projects and follow-up actions. Some of the main PM responsibilities while working at REC with SIDA, INTERREG and EC projects include ensuring timely and cost-efficient project implementation, strategic stakeholder identification and involvement as well as project communication activities accompanied with organization of international events and drafting the outputs for future. Among others, my INTERREG expert contributions covers targeted assessment of existing legislative framework at EU and national level related to the green policies for the Danube river.
