More than twenty-five years of experience in humanitarian aid, crisis and emergency management in a range of operational and strategic functions, both on domestic and international level, combine with strategic and operational leadership and strong analytic capacities.

I offer senior proficiency in crisis and disaster management systems of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, NGOs, the UN Cluster system, the EU Civil Protection Mechanism and other Civil Protection systems, with working experience specifically in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Areas of expertise also comprise Contingency Planning, Risk Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Emergency Medical Services, Programme Management, Safety and Security Management, Business Continuity Management, design and implementation of training programmes, and Capacity Development programming.

Prior assignments include leading functions within the RCRC Movement; planning and implementation of operations and programmes in multi-stakeholder environments, as well as coordination of a range of R&D projects across the entire crisis management cycle. I am a member of surge pools for humanitarian response operations, have been working with national standardization boards and international expert committees on crisis management, and was engaged as a university lecturer.
