Nicole Mukunzi, MSPH, is a Public Health Specialist with 15 years of experience developing and implementing community-based public health programs in Rwanda, East Africa. Her work has focused on leading Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs, Nutrition, Malaria Prevention, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), and HIV/AIDS initiatives to improve public health outcomes. Ms. Mukunzi has collaborated with organizations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US Peace Corps, and Agence Française de Développement (AFD). She has been responsible for overseeing program implementation from planning to administration, budgeting, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation. After relocating to Liberia, West Africa, in 2021, she started independently consulting, providing technical advisory assistance to International NGOs and donors in their strategic planning, positioning, and business development activities in the WASH sector (in Liberia, DRC, and the USA). She is proficient in both French and English and has worked as a simultaneous translator in various meetings and conferences. Ms. Mukunzi enjoys working, traveling, and learning from different cultures and contexts.
