Daniel Mwero has extensive experience spanning 14 years in Applied Research Monitoring and Evaluation, Data management and Design of Management Information Systems. He is vastly experienced in the design and execution of a wide range of studies and surveys including randomized trials, evaluation studies, large-scale household studies, complex baseline surveys,  socio-economic studies  and  impact  assessments. He has designed and reviewed  a number of M&E management  information systems, Data Quality Assessements (DQA), databases,  codebooks,  sampling strategies, data structures  and  quality  control  systems  using  a  wide  range  of  tools  including CSPro, MySQL, SQLWserver, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Google forms, and Ms Access. Daniel is proficient in the use of the most common data analytic softwares, including STATA, SPSS, R,  SPLUS, Ms  Excel,  EpiInfo,  SAS  and Matlab  among other  softwares.  He  is well  versed  in data  analysis methods  and  statistics  including  regression  and  cluster analysis. 

Daniel’s most recent assignments have seen him work in Central America-El Salvador (USAID), Pakistan (World Bank), Sudan (WHO), Ethiopia (IFPRI/World Bank), Uganda (MAP International), Tanzania/Rwanda/Uganda (Technoserve), Malawi (United Nations), Zimbabwe (ACBF), Ghana (IMC worldwide), Somalia (IBTCI/USAID), Liberia (IDG LLC/USAID), Sierra Leone (AFC/GOPA/European Union)  and Kenya (HARVEST PLUS, Solidarities International,AGRA, UNICEF, ILRI, USAID, PSI, and KEMRI/WELLCOME TRUST).

He  is  a proven  team  leader and team player  and  has  worked  with  many  international, interdisciplinary, and  intercultural teams. Daniel Speaks excellent English, Kiswahili and has intermediate level of French and Spanish.
