A researcher, statistician and monitoring and evaluation expert. Able to apply a range of methodologies (both qualitative & quantitative) for the design and implementation of high quality and complex global health and social intervention research to ensure effective programme implementation. My career has grown over the past 15 years from coordinating research, managing and executing monitoring and evaluating activities in Ghana to leading and coordinating large-scale research including baseline assessments and feasibility studies, developing monitoring and evaluation methodologies/systems, and managing and executing evaluations (full cycle) to managing projects and budgets and building capacity of partners/stakeholders to generate high quality global evidence in sub-Saharan Africa, South and East Asia, Pacific, and Central America for the development of interventions, guidelines and policy formulation. I have a demonstrated ability working in complex environments, across different cultures and management of diverse teams to achieve programme/ project targets/outcomes. I have a proven aptitude to work in matrix management teams globally, regionally and country office level towards the implementation and achievement of corporate objectives and goals. I have a demonstrated experience in the use of electronic data collection tools such as CSPro, SurveyCTO, ODK etc and building capacity of implementing partners to use these electronic data collection tools. I have also led the several statistical analyses using computerbased statistical packages such as, SPSS, EpiInfo etc; qualitative analysis packages including, NVivo, and MAXQDA and data visualization packages such as, tableau, MATLAB, Datavisual etc for informed decision-making. I am proficient in disseminating research activities using traditional media such publication in high-impact journals and high profile international fora as well as the use of innovative mediums. I have also served on several regional and international professional working groups and committees including, UN Working Groups on Demographic and Social Statistics, and Gender Statistics in Asia-Pacific, and the Asia-Pacific Development Agencies Committee for the improvement of demographic and social statistics
