M. Meenink is an Agronomist with over 26 years of experience in several African countries with the conception & implementation of Inclusive Value Chain Development Programs (Dairy, Cotton, Cereals, Livestock, Shea, Hibiscus and Cashew). Sustainable agricultural production systems & related extension services, improving performance of producers’ organisations & linking farmers to markets are important pillars of his career. In recent years, he has been working on the conception and negotiation of programs oriented to support the SME in Agro-Business and dairy sector development. M. Meenink has long-term management, resource mobilisation and team leadership experience (>20 years) with externally funded programs (DGIS, EU, SDC, USAID, World Bank, New Zealand MFAT, ICCO, Cordaid) in Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin & Ethiopia. As senior advisor and team leader, M. Meenink coaches, supervises project managers and advisors to conceptualise and implement programs in Africa and to develop “field based” knowledge. M. Meenink holds a Masters in Agronomy, with specialisation in extension science and speaks fluently English and French.
