Program/Project Management: Successful track record of providing technical leadership and deploying programmatic resources in innovative and entrepreneurial ways that have achieved impact beyond standard M&E indicators. Over 25 years professional experience in public health, education and economic development, including 13 years as Chief/Deputy Chief of Party on USAID-funded programs. Experience with Global Fund operations and with FCDO, GIZ and UNICEF funding. Proven experience leading development and execution of high-quality workplans and writing of precise quarterly and annual reports. Effective in navigating the complex network of stakeholders at all levels and leading teams reflecting a diversity of technical and cultural backgrounds
Finance and Administration/Operations: Demonstrated ability leading all aspects of financial management under USAID contracts and cooperative agreements, including development of budgets, forecasts, pipeline analysis, realignments, cost share recovery, reporting and audits. Extensive experience with design and management of grants programs. Instrumental in day-to-day administration and in driving of strategic operational decisions. Able leadership of support functions including HR, IT, procurement, logistics, facilities, security, fleet and consultants recruitment and management. Proven ability with start-up and close-out of projects and grants, and management of multiple remote locations
