Graduate in Civil Engineering with PG in Transportation Engineering and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Urban Transportation Planning. Has good communication skills, organisational abilities and experienced in planning, design and implementation of infrastructure projects.

Has been working in infrastructure field for the last around 20 years and has got in-sights about all kinds of infrastructure including roads, railways / metroes, water supply / sanitation, urban planning, irrigation and water resources. Has experience of working in India and widely travelled within India and to different countries for project and business development activities. Has helped his company in starting and developing new verticals in infrastructure sector by identifying opportunities / projects, appropriate associate consultants and consultancy organizations and establish strategic alliances for winning of business, strengthen company’s network in support of business development, making winning technical and financial proposals, identifying right professionals for building project teams, study and finalise MOU / JV / Association and contract agreements, project management activities. Well versed with procurement procedures followed by private and government agencies for domestic and externally funded projects.

Has broad knowledge of PPP project set up, responsibilities and activities of clients, concessionaires, consultants, EPC contractors and other stake holders like lenders / banks.

Has dealt with projects funded by domestic and international agencies and has thorough knowledge of various stages of projects viz. project planning, feasibility studies and detailed project reports, project implementation, construction supervision and contract management. Has good knowledge of processes and procedures followed regarding project implementation.

Has been heading business development division of a reputed engineering consultancy firm with key responsibilities.
