About
I am an organic intellectual, currently a lecturer at the University of South Africa. In the past 25, my research niches, experience and expertise include civil society organisations management, decentralisation, local economic development and sustainability, ecological dimension of Christian mission, open and distance education, development theory, urban and rural poverty reducation, integral mission and advocacy. My schorlarly contributions in academic journals foccus on issues such as homelessness and poverty in Africa, mobilisation of faith based organisations for socioeconomic development, local economic development, ecology and mobilisation of assets of graasroots communities for endogenous development.
My PhD research focussed on studying: "Mission in an African city: Discovering the Township church as an asset towards local economic development in Tshwane".
