I am a Supply Chain professional with over 16 years of experience in, Operations, especially in Strategic supply chain management, in highly Unsecure Countries like Somalia, and South Sudan.
I am a student of MSc in Humanitarian Practices from The University of Manchester and completed my Degree in Supply Chain Management (MBA), I have completed 03 years diploma in Associate Engineer Civil (Quality Control, Water Resources & Transport Engineering,) 01 Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), and a Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistic & Transport management from the Charted Institute of logistic & Transport CILT-UK,& Pakistan along with some short courses like DRR, DRM, Project Management Planning and Logistics & Supply Management in Emergencies. Health Commodities, inventory control system, HOMER & UNIFIELD (Procurement, Warehousing, Finance) of MSF ERP System, also certified Contract management from World Bank.
My areas of expertise are Planning & Implementation, Coordination, Reporting, Compliance, and Budgeting. I am also remained involved in Humanitarian Assistance & Emergencies, with different International Organizations. Confidence in Logistics & Supply Chain Management during disaster responses, close coordination with stakeholders, mapping disaster-prone areas, and managing tactical planning.
My previous assignments were with MSF as a Conference Coordinator, Logistics Team Leader, Coordinator in Abuja Nigeria, and Log /FIN/HR in Somaliland, and currently as a Mission Supply Chain Manager in South Sudan.
Some Key Achievements:
- Recommendation for key Improvement in the Mission Supply System in South Sudan to maintain Transparency, accountability, and a systematic approach in a short time frame, based on implementation the Paperwork and Human efforts reduced from 100% to 20% the efficiency of work and lead time was improved.
- Market Assessment is done in Nigeria, Somaliland, and South Soudan which play a key role in a high volume purchase, and overall impact on routine purchases, performance-based SLAs are awarded Key indicators.
- Due to Strategic Changes the Main Procurement Hub from Loki Changed to South Sudan based on the Market assessment which will play a key role in resource mobilization.
- Coordinate with Local philanthropists and involve them to support the NOMA Project and support in Kinds (Materials +Vane, Visibility) free of Cost, this was the First time in the History of MSF in Nigeria.
- Save Org resources worth 100,000$++ in Procurements which was my big achievement in Somaliland in the purchase of Vehicles, generators, and materials for Operational activities.
- Save many Resources worth 5 Million Naira during the international Lead conference 2018-Abuja and awarded by the Vice President of Nigeria for a successful event.
- During a new project, implementation Recruited more than 100+ staff Trained all newly Hired logistics/Admin and Supply/warehousing Staff on Unifield in a short Period for transparent, systematic, and efficient working.
- Instructor for WFP+MSF to Train 400+ Management level staff of 200+ Organizations working in the African Region focused on Prepositioning Strategies during the Pandemic in a contextual situation of South Sudan.
- Provide full support and was part of the Emergency team in flood and Earthquake responses
Currently, I am working as a Mission Supply Chain Manager and responsible for 05 Projects under South Sudan Mission and Emergency intervention in the country.
