Mr. Bozanic has over 20 years of experience in the labour market sector. His key expertise lies in labour market analysis (LMA) and Labour Market Information System (LMIS), implementation of Labor Force Survey (LFS), Skills Needs and Occupation Survey, Job Vacancies Survey, School-to-work transition survey, Household Budget Survey (HBS), Living Standard Measurement Survey (LSMS), Health survey, etc. Mr. Bozanic worked in the labor market sector in the Middle East Region as well as in Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Kosovo. He was part of several capacity-building programs involving labor market institutions, civil society, local governments, health sectors, etc. Mr. Bozanic was a Key Expert on donor-funded projects, including ILO, EU, EC, and ETF-funded projects.
From 2010 to 2016, as Head of the Household Survey Department within the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, he supervised teams and led research initiatives and was engaged in planning, organizing, and controlling the national survey implementation process, including LFS, HBS, and LSMS. He managed the Development of sampling frames, Sampling – post stratifications and calibrations, Data collection, Data Analysis, Reporting, Non-response problems, dealing with outliers and data imputation, estimating processes and weights, and Logical control improvement. Harmonization of national surveys according to EUROSTAT and ILO regulations and definitions. Improvement of data quality through the improvement of the management of survey implementation, capacity building of the Statistical Offices through the arrangement of different pieces of training for employees, etc. From 2009 to 2015, he was an external collaborator for the International Labour Organization (ILO). He has vast experience in the development of approaches and methodologies for LMA, skills mismatches, and anticipation of skill labour supply and demand based on key indicators on education, skills, and employment, calculated from the following data sources: Labor Force Survey, Skills Needs and Occupations Survey, Public Employment Service administrative data, Job Vacancies Survey data, Key Labour Market indicators (KILMs), Educational Attainment Indicators, Vocational Programs Indicators, Job Vacancies Statistics, etc. His experience also includes the development of statistical indicators on vocational education and training, skills, and employment from both LFS and administrative data.
