Kirsten Larsen has more than 20 years of experience as a Manager, employee and International Consultant within the education (TVET, general education, adult learning) youth programming, entrepreneurship/safety networks and employment sector and career counselling from Private, Public and Civil Society organizations and UN. This includes 12 years’ experience as an international consultant with EU, DFID, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UN and Bilateral donors, in Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi Sierra Leon, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe), Asia (Bangladesh, China) and Europe (Macedonia, Moldova, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania, Turkey) and Middle East (Lebanon, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Syria) including:.
· More than 10 years of experience within employment as manager/team leader, counsellor and international consultant within Human resource development, Employment guidance and counselling, organisational analysis, policy development and, management of complex organisational change management processes.
· More than 15 years of experience as a manager, trainer and international consultant within vocational training and general education engaged in training, management, policy development, curriculum development, capacity assessment and development of TEVET instructors , organisaional and systemic and delivery analysis and enhancement, TNA and tracer studies
· More than 5 years of experience in Youth programming development of policy and strategy as well as a framework for youth programs focusing on economic social and political empowerment of youth technical support to the establishment of regional youth project portfolio in the East African region, and capacity building of staff for project implementation (TEVET, entrepreneurship and employment. and support to job centres` organisation and service delivery reform.
· More than 5 years of experience in partnerships development supporting projects and government in the establishment of a relevant social partnership for development, education and employment, and training in social partnership for development
· More than 10 years of experience in project cycle management, and support to civil society organisations/partners in fundraising, strengthening of organisational, administration, project cycle management and MSE, including training, coaching and supervision
· More than 5 years of experience in Entrepreneurship including development of comprehensive entrepreneurship curricula manuals and guidelines for Vocational training and unemployed, implementation of tailor-made and gender-sensitive entrepreneurship trainer programs, and mentoring of trainers in delivery of entrepreneurship training (vocational trainers, adult education trainers>
· Vast experience in monitoring and evaluation as a team leader for planning and implementation of evaluations and monitoring processes and systems, mentoring staff in M&E implementation and training of enumerators. (Gap analysis, TNA, end of project evaluations, mid-term reviews, tracer studies, organisational and partner capacity analysis) and leading participant and stakeholder-based evaluation validation processes.
