THEMATIC'EXPERTISE:

Natural resources governance: Effective experience in promoting transparency, accountability and citizens' participation across all steps and aspects of the extractive industry value chain. This includes strong experience and competences on the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI), the Africa Mining Vision and other related policy, legislative and governance initiatives in Africa, Latin America and globally.

Social development: relevant experience in strengthening the role of CSOs and government services to promote social development (children!issues, OVC, women issues, gender, PLWD, homelessness, immigration, others) with a focus on capacity development, policy dialogue and coordination, community based support, as well as citizens engagement and accountability in view of promoting resilient approaches.

Rural development & emergency response: Effective experience in promoting rural development process and community resilience through

a) empowering local communities and CSOs to participate in development planning and sustainably manage their natural resources and land;

b) enhancing the role of small farmers organisations and cooperatives in the value chain, facilitating access to markets, financial services and technology;

c) planning, managing and enhancing community capacity to respond to natural disasters.
