About

Patrícia has a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, a Bachelors’ degree in International Relations from the Universidade do Minho. She was also trained in Project Evaluation at the University of Oriental and African Studies in London and has extensive experience in the areas of intervention related to the design, monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects, and project management in the area of ​​International Development Cooperation.

Most of her professional activity since 2010 has been related to aid development projects and programs financed by the European Union, World Bank, UNICEF, UN Women, African Development Bank, Camões, LuxDev (Luxembourg), among others. She focuses her intervention in the public sector and civil society organizations.

She has in depth knowledge of Development Cooperation issues Portuguese-speaking African countries and East Timor and has been involved as a responsible and/or specialist in numerous projects, having developed  and implemented in the field several methodologies for qualitative and quantitative data collection.

She has worked with international non-profit organizations in Amsterdam, Brussels, London and Lisbon as a Public Policy Coordinator, Programme Officer and Fundraising Strategist. 

Patricia also has extensive experience and knowledge about the Sustainable Development Goals, having been directly involved in the advocacy process for corporate responsibility and the role of the private sector in the 2030 Agenda.
