I have a broad technical background in the related fields of sustainable development, resilience, 3-waters, environmental science, public health, risk assessment, audit & investigation, infrastructure, management systems, certification schemes, occupational health and safety and conflict resolution.
I currently provide technical advice to those planning and delivering infrastructure and water projects via the New Zealand Aid Programme, focused on the Pacific and S.E. Asia. My other roles at MFAT have also included driving our disaster risk reduction (DRR) work, and running our country programmes for the Cook Islands and Tuvalu.
My past roles have included office manager, team leader, consultant, programme manager, regulator, research scientist, policy analyst and auditor. My sector experience includes: utilities, government (local, regional and central), manufacturing, mining, forestry, oil and gas, defence, food, transport, and scientific research.
I have work experience in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, South America and the Pacific, and have travelled through over 50 countries.
