Over twelve years’ experience in project management, focusing on development and assistance to vulnerable groups, HIV and gender-based violence; two year logistics and project management with an international NGO; and establishment and management of community based organization. Professional experience and personal passion for working with vulnerable groups including orphans and vulnerable children, women, refugees and migrant populations in both urban and rural settings. Extensive experience in management of community based programmes for addressing the impact of poverty and HIV on households and communities and other development and relief programmes. Extensive experience in the development and management of food security and livelihoods projects, provision of sustainable water supply in rural communities and supporting the education systems of rural communities. Experience in developing and managing emergency response programs especially in nutrition, WASH, food security and agriculture, shelter and protection in emergency sectors. Over five years’ experience in leadership and strategic guidance of a country office implementing a wide range of development projects in urban and rural communities.
