Professional: 

With background as a lawyer, I have devoted the larger parts of my professional life to the protection of the environment, renewable energy and sustainable development, and I have been fortunate to work towards those aims at different levels and in different settings; in Norway, internationally and globally, as well as towards and in developing countries. I have thus had several positions in the public sector, positions as a consultant and as the manager of a company in the private sector, and finally, as an advisor in an NGO. My diverse background has definitely contributed to the overview and knowledge I have on environmental protection, preparedness and response, as well as international co-operation, development co-operation, renewable energy, climate change and sustainable development. In addition, it has contributed well to the practical skills i have of managing work and people.

Personal:

I am passionate about contributing to sustainable development, in particular in developing countries. Having structured and reported on numerous projects, I have developed good structural and reporting skills, and I take a proactive and efficient position in developing projects, being as result oriented as I am. Significant time spent in teams has resulted in a love for teamwork and collaboration. In addition, I love communicating with people, and build therefore easily new relationships with people of different background, culture and status. I am analytical and open minded by nature, confident in values and social behaviour, and definitively a team player.
