I am a holder of an equivalent to a Masters, after attaining Associate ship level with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators International –Zimbabwe Division, in 2009. I have 22 years of working experience with International NGOs in the following Countries: Uganda, Ghana, South Sudan and Zimbabwe, in various capacities including Acting Country Director’s role when the CDs take leave.
I have worked in Programs and Program Support in the following roles: Support Services Manager, Finance & Admin Coordinator, and Operations Manager heading Administration, IT, and Procurement & Logistics departments, Finance Manager, Community Development Coordinator. I therefore have high level of expertise and exposure to different organizational strategies, policies and controls, financial reporting to various major Donors and to the Board of Directors & Senior Management, audits, and people management among others. I can proffer practical business services solutions which support program delivery.
Currently I am working as a Support Services Manager -Head of Finance & Operations (Finance, HR, Admin, IT, Supply Chain with Procurement, Fleet & Warehouse) with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Kyaka II, in Uganda. . My experience with country programmes include both emergency humanitarian and long term development programmes in the most politically and economically challenging contexts, and some with bias on empowerment of Women, Girls, Children and Youths.
